Dolak

Flute

The flute is a member of a family of musical instruments in the woodwind group. Like all woodwinds, flutes are aerophones, producing sound with a vibrating column of air. Indian bamboo flutes are the one of the oldest musical instruments of India. While the Carnatic flute used in South India is called the venu, the Hindustani flute used in North India is called the bansuri. The venu uses thicker walled and darker bamboo than the bansuri. Also, venu has eight playing and one blowing hole while bansuri uses six playing holes and one blowing hole. The silk worm thread is used on this flute is so good quality.
